How to play

Flip, remember, and match mahjong tiles.

Memory Mahjong is a free online mahjong memory game. Turn over tiles, remember where each symbol is, and clear the board by finding valid matches before your moves run out.

Standard numbered tiles can match as identical pairs or by the same number across bamboo, dots, and characters. Flower tiles work as wild cards, and dragon tiles become a bonus set when triple mode is active.

Pair examples

What counts as a match?

Identical tiles

Two identical tiles are the safest match to remember, such as bamboo 6 with another bamboo 6.

Same number, different suits

Number tiles can also match across suits. Bamboo 6, dot 6, and character 6 all share the same value.

Dragon triple

When triple mode is active, red, green, and white dragons clear together for a stronger scoring play.

Flower wilds

Flowers are wild tiles. Use them to finish a pair when you know the other tile but cannot find its twin.

Scoring

Good memory saves moves.

Each successful match adds to your score, while every flip spends a move. Watch each reveal carefully: the best Memory Mahjong scores come from using earlier tiles instead of guessing.

Layouts

Four boards, different memory pressure.

Play Diamond, Bridge, Pyramid, or Turtle. Small boards are easier to scan, while wider layouts make you track more tile positions and plan matches over a longer hand.

Tiles

Classic mahjong symbols, memory-game rules.

The game uses familiar mahjong tiles: bamboo, dots, characters, dragons, and flowers. You do not need to know traditional mahjong scoring; just remember the symbols, find valid pairs, and clear the board.
